The
American Eagle Outfitters show
(Angie is fired!)
Angie
before Chris? Wow, I never thought that would
happen. In the cab ride home at the end, Angie
expressed her disbelief, also. Have
you ever had that happen? Look at the clock and
realize....this is just not gonna happen. And such
a crucial moment. Angie could not check her body
language. She kept saying, "I think I'm gonna
throw up." What was Alex thinking when he
delayed their departure explaining the pockets to
Carolyn? Brown nosing, I believe. There is a place
for that, but not when you're already running
late!
The
garments were pretty blah, nothing that original.
I liked the idea of the special logos, but when
the weed-inspired machine operators messed those
up, it looked pretty bad.
So,
what lessons do we learn from these people's
mistakes? 1. Control, control, control. Keep tight
control of everything. From the items you are
responsible for to the time you walk out the door.
2. Don't leave and accept when someone's done a
bad job for you. Logos backward? What the heck?
Leave the store with what you paid for. Nothing
less. 3. Master your presentation. No room for
ummm, ummmmm. 4. Put the credit card back in a
safe place once you've used it!
